Thought I should post some of my experience playing at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics. The following are excerpts from my facebook pages.

Norine Braun had a fun set at ROO then sat in the Royalty booth beyond kewl. I was a seat warmer for the Crown Prince Willem-Alexander of Holland, The Prince of Norway sat right behind me so totally amazing! I was briefed on royalty protocol which was interesting too... this has been quite an adventure far beyond what I expected.

Norine Braun The ice dance was amazingly beautiful and especially as Canada won the gold!! Thunderous applause and screaming ...I hope I can hear again for the ROO gig tomorrow at 9.

Norine Braun Today sunshine gig at Pacific Coliseum for the figure skating crowd, I think its dance pairs should be good!

Norine Braun tourist in my own town today taking advantage of another blue sky sunny day. We went to the free stuff ... francophone village at granville, took the canada line to olympic line to yaletown walked to cbc to aboriginal pavilion to the flame cauldron to robson to granville on the super sunday that almost was... joyful spirits abound.

Norine Braun The curling fans were a blast! The performers were along the concourse as folks entered....these fans didn't join me as often for photo opps instead they threw money at me LOL quarters, loonies and twoonies, I also got a big hug from Quatchi the mascot and shook hands with John Furlong! 2 sets for 10,000 fans am abit tired now zzz...

Sounds like things are going great, Norine. Good for you, girl. Chelsea, our eldest had to laugh on how lucky you were to get a hug from Quatchi, she just loves that critter, she has a bunch of him in her room. Have a great one, my dear!
